Hi everyone, I'm sorry that I haven't been around for a wee while I haven't been very well these last few days and have been trying to catch up with the last minute preparations for christmas. Hope you are all well and enjoying the festivities.
This is our last challenge of the year over at That Craft Place and the challenge is "Snowy Xmas" and this is my DT card

To make this card I've used the following : 6x6 scalloped white card, brown bazzill, snowy printed craft card, brown organza ribbon, silver snowflake charm and white flatbacked pearls all of which can be purchased from That Craft Place Shop where you can also buy the spellbinders dies that I've used to make the poinsettia flowers and also the flatbacked bling gem I've used in the centre of the bow

To colour this cute image of Magnolia Tilda I've used promarkers and flexmarkers

Why don't you pop on over to our challenge blog where you will see what our lovely talented ladies on the DT have created to help inspire you , we really would love to see your creations

Well this is probably going to be my last post now until after christmas so I would like to wish you all a very happy and peaceful christmas and best wishes for 2013 and I look forward to seeing you all in the new year.

And Now For Something Different....

Hi everyone,

Just a very quick little blog from me today. This is a card that I made last night and I thought I should maybe make something for the fella's which is not something I do very often hence my heading "And Now For Something Different"

To make this card I've used the following :-
6x6 scalloped white card, black card, Authentique 6x6 peaceful design papers, silver mirri, black satin edge organza ribbon, silver chain, 18 charm and football charm, black flatbacked pearls, Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink, Ranger glossy accents and LOTV cute little topper

In this photo I have tried to get a close up of the football where I've added some glossy accents to try and give the picture a little more depth unfortunately my my camera is very old (its that old its steam powered lol) but hopefully you can still see it.

I really hope that you all like it and I would like to thank everyone who left comments for my last card they were wonderful, you are all stars each and everyone of you

Bathtime Bliss....

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend....  I spent my weekend tidying my craft area and tried (unsuccessfully) to sort my crafting supply's into things to keep and that I'll use and things to get rid of that I'll probably never use, but as you all know it's nearly an impossible task for us crafter's to do, I even tried telling myself that I wasn't just getting rid of things but making room for all the lovely goodies that santa will be bringing on christmas morning but it was no use I've just ended up moving things around again, I think maybe next Christmas I will ask santa if I'm especially good (fingers & toes crossed) if he could bring me a lovely big shiny new craftroom lol.

This is a card that I made yesterday after I'd finished having my sort out....

To make this card I have used the following
6x6 scalloped white card, bazzill basics, Papermania 6x6 designstax by Lucy Cromwell papers, lilac organza ribbon, white machine cut frame, mulberry pape blooms and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts

large flatbacked lilac pearls from Martha Stewart Crafts, small flatbacked lilac pearls from my stash, glamour dust, liquid pearls, stardust stickles, handmade lilac beaded charm, silver heart charm, a fimo heart that I made and last but not least the gorgeous little Forever Friends Topper.

I hope you like my card

I'm now off to do some last minute Christmas shopping and I'll catch you all later.

That Craft Place Challenge...

Hi everyone,

It's that time again for our challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge where our theme this time is a Recipe Challenge which consists of  2 x papers, 3 x colours (not including skin tones), and 4 x embellishments

To make my card I have used a black A5 card, Printed Vellum, Black Satin & Organza Ribbon, Distressed Silver Heart Charm, Clear AB Flat Back Gems, and Butterfly which was punched out of Authentic 6x6 Pad all of which can be found at That Craft Place

I have also used a Black Filigree Machine Cut Frame and of course my Pro markers and Flex markers to colour this stamped image of Betty.

The butterfly was punched out of a 6 x 6 sheet of Design Paper from the Authentic Pad and I then coloured it using my Pro markers to tie it in with the Red used for the Betty Image

Why don't you pop over to That Craft Place Challenge Blog and take a look at what all our talented DT ladies have done to help inspire you, we really would love to see you.

Forever Friends Monthly Challenge.....

Christmas Card Challenge

Hi everybody,

Well I'm almost ready for the big day itself, I've only a few more stocking fillers to get and of course the food & drink shop still to do.
It's snowing and very cold Brrr here on the north east coast but I'm toasty warm and have spent the last few days wrapping gifts and putting up the Christmas Tree.
I've also made my very first card for the Forever Friends Monthly DT

To make this card I've used the following
6x6 white scalloped card, bazzill bling, neighbourwood design papers, tim holtz dusty concord distress ink, glass micro beads, ranger liquid pearls, glamour dust, amethyst organza ribbon, large fancy ivory flat backed pearl, purple flat backed gems, the sentiment was from my stash and of course my ever so cute little Forever Friends topper

This is a close up of the die cut mat that I coloured using the tim holtz dusty concord distress ink, I then covered it in clear glass micro beads to give it a frosty look,

I've really loved making this card and these ever so cute little bears are a real joy to work with.

Why don't you pop on over to the Forever Friends Challenge Blog to see what our very talented DT ladies have made, we would love to see you and the prizes this month are fabby too
